Well since this is the second book in a series called The Killables, there may be some parts that are left unexplained.

So far Evie is now at the camp with Raffy outside of The City.  They plan on living a more happier and free life than living in the city. Meanwhile back in the city, Lucas is having trouble and there seem to be people disappearing.
